I HAVE A DEMON

I have a demon inside me
That tells me to trust
Noone.

I have a demon
That talks of secret worlds
In all the words people say
To me.

It talks of conspiracies
That are thought of
By faceless men and women
Behind closed doors.

There's always another meaning
Behind all these safe
And stable laws.

Worlds within worlds.
Wheels within wheels.

I used to be able
To control this creature,
Until the world
Showed its other face to me.

The crazy, shadowed side,
Like glancing into broken mirrors,
Like staring into
Oblivion.

My demon loves this time,
For it's justified
In doubting everything
They say.
